I have always loved weddings and decided to become a celebrant after writing and delivering a number of wedding readings for close friends. A stint as 'Master of Ceremonies' was enough to make me take the plunge with my celebrancy training and I haven't looked back. A self proclaimed 'people person', I have it on good authority that I make those around me feel comfortable, supported and listened to (which is key for hitting the right mark with your wedding ceremony script) and, as a bit of a perfectionist, I'll always go the extra mile to create something that is just right.

I have a great deal of experience when it comes to public speaking and my ceremonies are delivered with confidence and clarity. I also love being creative with my writing. Maybe you want something to make you and your guests giggle, setting a fun and humorous tone? Perhaps you'd prefer a heartfelt journey through the key moments of your relationship, forcing everyone to turn to the tissues? Or maybe you want something really different and would prefer your ceremony script to be delivered through poetry? Whatever the brief, I love exploring with language and creating content that is totally unique, so rest assured that I will rise to the challenge!

 

I am currently based in Deal on the Kent coast, but I grew up a stone's throw from the beautiful Peak District (in Sheffield). I have spent most of my adult life studying and working in Cambridge and London respectively and I'm always willing to travel if you feel that we would be a good match.
